Just because you're in Africa talking to a black person doesn't mean you have to subtitle everything he says. Especially if he speaks clearer English than your high-and-mighty Travel Channel host, who, in addition to dressing like he is on "The Deadliest Catch: Safari!" (see above), won't stop yelling about "the locals." Note to anyone who travels, ever, anywhere: there's no way to sound like more of an outsider than to loudly and endlessly yap about "the locals."
